Several days left in John Carney’s “Get rid of The Christmas Shoes song” campaign on Fresh 102.5FM to raise money for Rainbows For Kids- interview with Sally Rains

(Compiled by Staff) — John Carney, radio personality for Fresh 102.5 FM hates the song “The Christmas Shoes” and he’s putting his (and hopefully his listeners) money where his mouth is. He is running a promotion where people vote “yes, we like The Christmas Shoes song” or “No, we hate it, stop playing it on the radio.”

Each vote costs $5 and the checks are to be made to Rainbows for Kids, the charity started by our family. We very much appreciate Carney and Fresh 102.5 for including our charity. If “yes we like it ” wins, Carney has pledged to go into a recording studio and sing the song himself. He interviewed Rainbows For Kids volunteer Sally Rains about the charity and his promotion, and that interview ran on Sunday. We have the audio of it in this article.

To find out more about how you can vote and donate to Rainbows For Kids, please click this link and it will take you to a second page. You will click the link just above the “social media” icons. You can also go to our website: www.RainbowsForKids.org or www.Fresh1025.com for more information.
